Most of Emmanuel’s Academic Scholarships do not require an additional scholarship application*. Information from the admission application is used to determine if a student meets the scholarship criteria. Please note that institutional scholarships may not be stacked on top of one another, with the exception where noted below.
* The Pacific Northwest Scholarship and Tom & Debbie Jones Stadia Church Leadership Scholarship require a separate application.
Stone-Campbell Scholarship
- Newly enrolling students in MDiv, MAR, MACM, or Certificate in CM
- $175/credit hour award
- Requirement: 3.0 GPA undergrad
- Renewable
- Up to 6 years total enrollment (term of catalog)
- Recipients must maintain 2.0 GPA or higher
Friends Scholarship
- Newly enrolling students in MDiv, MAR, MACM, or Certificate in CM
- $100/credit hour award
- Requirement: 2.5 GPA undergrad
- Renewable
- Up to 6 years total enrollment (term of catalog)
- Recipients must maintain 2.0 GPA or higher
Fig Tree Scholarship
- Newly enrolling students in MDiv or MAR
- $300/credit hour award, based on funding availability
- Requirement: 3.0 GPA undergrad
- Renewable
- Up to 6 years total enrollment (term of catalog)
- Recipients must maintain 3.0 GPA or higher
Pacific Northwest Scholarship*
- Newly enrolling students in MDiv, MAR, or MACM
- Scholarship Application required.
- Applications due by March 1. Awards made by April 1. Decision by April 15.
- Recipients must meet one of the following requirements:
- Residency in (or were reared in) Oregon, Washington, or Idaho
- Graduate from a college or university located in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho
- Currently serving in a church in Oregon, Washington, or Idaho
- Award amounts vary
- Scholarships will be awarded to eligible students based on the availability of funding.
- Renewal of the scholarship is subject to general provisions outlined in the college catalog and these requirements:
- Student should maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Remain continuously enrolled in masters level program.
Tom & Debbie Jones Stadia Church Leadership Scholarship*
- Newly enrolling students in MACM or DMin
- Scholarship application required.
- Scholarship is based on availability of funds each year
- Recipients must meet one of the following requirements:
- Stadia staff
- Lead Planter of Stadia church
- Spouse of lead planter at Stadia church
- Scholarship may be stacked with another institutional scholarship
- Scholarship is renewable each year as long as funding is in place
Spousal Scholarship
- Recipient must be married to a full-time degree-seeking Emmanuel MDiv or MAR student
- 1 free course per semester (2 total per academic year)
- Audit or for-credit
- Requirement: 3.0 GPA undergrad
- Recipients must maintain 2.75 GPA or higher
- Not eligible for any other institutional aid
- Applies to seminary courses only

Church Match Scholarship
- Students enrolled in MDiv, MAR, MACM, DMin, or Certificate in Christian Ministries are eligible.
- Church match Scholarship can be combined with another institutional scholarship.
- May be utilized up to three terms per academic year: Fall, Spring, and Summer
- Emmanuel will match your church or non-profit’s contribution towards your tuition in two set amounts.
- Enrolled 1-5 credit hours: $250/ term
- Enrolled 6+ credit hours: $500/ term
- Payment must be received by the Friday before the first day of the first class each semester to receive the matching scholarship. Payments received after will not be matched.
- Payments can be made online or by mailing a check.
- Online payments can be made at ecs.milligan.edu/churchpayment. Payments using a credit or debit card will be charged a convenience fee. Payments made using a bank account are not charged a fee.
- Checks should be made payable to Milligan Student Accounts, PO BOX 250, Milligan, TN 37682. Please include the student’s name on the memo line.
