Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that the Holy Spirit is revealed through these nine attributes: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These point to the indwelling work of the Spirit not only in producing momentary experiences, but also deep, settled qualities of character exhibited in the lives of Christ followers.
